Shaf's Bargains

This is such a good little store. I only recently moved to Skipton and I’ve visited them a few times now. The guys that work here are really helpful and you can see that they try hard to give you the best value they can. This to me is what local stores should be about and I will continue to support them for as long as I am here.

I visited this shop on Friday 14th August and was very happy with the advice given (being a “vape virgin”). I said I would be back the following day to purchase a mod starter kit. However, when I returned the following day at the stated opening time of 10am the shop was closed. I waited for 30 mins, still no sign of opening. I went to get some food and returned at 11am where there were a couple more people waiting, equally puzzled as to why the shop was closed. I asked the neighbouring retailers as to why this might be and was told that this was a regular occurrence. I am a former shop manager, this man has broken the golden rule of retailing and exhibits a distinct lack of professionalism. As I was intending to spend about £100 he has lost that business and any future business with me.
I instead went to another shop in Skipton and was afforded the kind of treatment you would expect as a customer, courtesy, sound advice and extremely helpful and above all they were open when they said they were going to be.
