Aspire Quest Mini Kit Review (Odyssey)

Aspire Quest Mini Kit Review

Aspire have released a mini version of their popular Triton Tank and Pegasus Mod in a starter kit package. The US version of this is known as the Aspire Odyssey Mini Kit Review.

Included in the box is a scratch off card to check the authenticity of your Aspire Quest Mini Kit to prevent fakes and clones.

The Pegasus Mini is sleek looking and very portable with some nifty features. When you first install the coil then the device will ask you the type of coil and bypass mode so you can use it as mech mod without the safety features. The LED screen has a sensor on it that flips the screen depending on which way you are holding it up.

You will need to purchase an 18650 battery to use with Pegasus Mini Mod which is not included. Popular brands for 18650 batteries include Samsung and Efest and can be purchased for around £6-8 from most retailers. The Micro USB included allows you to charge your 18650 battery via USB so no need for an external charger.

The Triton Tank comes with 3 different coils including a Clapton, Kanthal and Ni200 so you can use the temperature control features out of the box. Replaceable Clapton Coils will set you back around £12 for a set of 5. Unfortunately, the drip tip on the Triton Tank Mini is not a 510 connection as it is a top filling system which requires you to unscrew the drip tip.

This would provide a good upgrade from an eGo style battery and suitable for beginners. There are some advanced features such as the different types of coils which might confuse beginners but the options are there if you want to use the temperature control mode in the future.

Average UK battery price is around £50 for the full kit excluding a battery.
